All of these topics are interrelated and not possible to clearly separate- so we post most of the related materials on this page.
The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. {1SM 204.2}
Why Is Hope Channel Promoting Mindfulness?
The next time you hear the word “mindfulness,” remember that Christians have something much better. We have the mind of Christ! (1 Corinthians 2:16).
Mindfulness is popular in hospitals, schools, secular counseling offices, Social Media giants, Silicon Valley firms, the Pentagon and in meetings of global leaders. It was even recently promoted by Hope Channel (video at end of article).

The One Project Analyzed by Rick Howard
[Editor's note from Fulcrum7: Shortly before he died, Pastor Rick Howard sent me several articles where he analyzed the Emergent Church Movement, the One Project and the progressive spirituality flooding into the church. Even though Rick's voice of experience and warning is now silent his words live on in his books and articles. This is one of the articles that Rick sent to me.]

It did not take long for Catholic mystics to realize that mystics of other religions were experiencing the very same contemplative states of consciousness attained by the medieval mystics.
Recently, we received a DVD from Ron Duffield packed with information about the Emerging Church and The One Project.
We have copied the DVD materials below.
The information you will see and hear on this website will be the documentation provided in that DVD material . We have learned much and hope you do also. There are gigabytes of video, pdfs, power points, documents, etc and it will take time to get it loaded up - so keep coming back as this presentation grows. If you have material to add let us know through the Contact button. Thanks.
So who is Ron Duffield?
“We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history” (Life Sketches, p. 196). In this seminar [link below], Ron Duffield discusses how the Lord desired to return soon after 1844, how He began to send the latter rain, and how He gave the loud cry in 1888. Although the proclamation of this message around the country brought about resistance in many people, positive results still took place. In this session, we will glean many lessons from our past history that are beneficial today.
RON DUFFIELD is a fifth-generation Seventh-day Adventist. His great-great-grandfather even attended the 1888 General Conference. Ron and his wife spent nearly fifteen years at Weimar Institute where he served in the NEWSTART program and as college librarian. There he began his work on "The Return of the Latter Rain", published in 2010. The second volume in the series,"Wounded in the House of His Friends," will be published in 2014. Ron currently works as a respiratory therapist in Walla Walla, Washington.

The Emerging Church and The One Project DVD materials
Let me [Ron Duffield] explain a little about how these presentations came about. In early 2012 I received an email from a pastor friend in New England asking if I knew anything about the One Project. I knew very little if any about the Project, but as I began looking into it I ran across some mention of the Emerging Church movement. Not knowing much about that concept either I decided to look into the history of the Emerging Church here in America. This led me to study into the works of Leonard Sweet, a leading proponent of the Emerging Church movement. After doing so I went back to the One Project and began to see many similarities. Although I struggled with wanting to be honest with what seems to be going on in our church and education systems, and yet not wanting to bash the leaders of the Project or those supporting it, I did my best to be objective with the facts in these presentations.
All 10 presentations are in Microsoft Power Point 2010 edition.[However, they have had to be modified to fit this website software.] Each slide has notes at the bottom that are meant to help the presenter, but would also be essential for anyone looking through the presentations in order to follow the train of thought. Some of these notes may be stated in a way that is more pointed than might need to be said in a public presentation however. Some slides have video clips that are linked to the video folder (this worked better than embedding them in the presentation itself).
Presentation 1 is a summary of the Emerging Church as found on Wikipedia. This is a summary of the 17 page article found there which is taken from many leading proponents of the Emerging Church here in America.

Presentations 2 through 4 deals with Leonard Sweet, a leader in the Emerging Church movement and a professor at George Fox University, and many of the nearly 50 books he has authored which express his various viewpoints.

Presentations 5 through 9 deals with the five main leaders of The One Project (Japhet De Oliveira, Alex Bryan, Sam Leonor, Tim Gillespie and Terry Swenson), four of which graduated with their doctoral degrees from George Fox University under the mentorship of Leonard Sweet. In each presentation I sought to be as objective as possible, looking only at material in print which told of their work and ministry up to this point in time. The question naturally follows; is this the direction we should be leading our young people in the Adventist Church?

Presentation 10 deals with the One Project gathering in Seattle, February of 2012. I tried to take a look at the claims of the Project (Jesus. All.), and what really took place at the gathering. Yes, there was some good points made, and we need to lift Jesus up, but…. I also take a look at just a little of the evidence that The One Project is a response to GYC.

There are also several other documents on the DVD and this website: Alex Bryan’s doctoral thesis; The One Project booklet for both Seattle, Sydney Australia and Chicago; the latest Review with its front page article on mysticism (written in favor of such things); Leonard Sweet’s first book Quantum Spirituality, which is full of spiritualism (I don’t recommend reading the book but supplied it so others can see I didn’t misquote him, and show why we shouldn’t be recommending his writings and concepts to our young people through The One Project); Greg Lundquist’s paper, “Spiritual Formation: Something to think about”; Ministry Magazine articles by Mark Finley and others on Spiritual Formation; Roger Oakland’s Faith Undone, is a good book on the Emerging Church movement (if you wish to keep the book please purchase it for $6.95 at: http://www.lighthousetrails.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Store_code=LTP&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=FA-PDF).

WHO IS CALLING?December 16, 2016
Of all the devotionals in the store, most prominent is the book Jesus Calling...
A warning quote from the Kellogg pantheism deception era:
"I am instructed that we are not to enter into any controversy over the spiritualistic representations that are fast coming in from every quarter. Further than this. I am to give those in charge of our papers instruction not to publish in the columns of the 'Review and Herald,' the 'Signs of the Times, or any other papers published by Seventh-day Adventists, articles attempting to explain these sophistries. We are in danger whenever we discuss the sophistries of the enemy. The publication of articles dealing with these sophistries is a snare for souls. Let these theories alone and warn all not to read them. Your explanations will amount to nothing. Let the theories alone. Do not try to show the inconsistency or fallacy of them. Let them alone.
"Do not perpetuate evil by talking of these theories in sermons or by publishing in our papers articles regarding them. The Lord says, Let them be unexplained. Present the affirmative of truth plainly, clearly, and decidedly. You cannot afford to study or combat these false theories. Present the truth, It is written. The time spent in dealing with these fallacies is much time lost. Our papers are not published for the purpose of dealing with such subjects. Articles on Bible subjects, full of practical truth, and written in so simple a style that the children and the common people cannot misunderstand them, are to fill our papers." Manuscript 20, 1906 - February 7, 1906
Read here about the downfall of Elder A.T. Jones as the pantheistic deceptions of Satan, promoted through John H Kellogg, captured Elder Jones as he disregarded the counsels directly from the Spirit of Prophecy.
A thought from the pen of inspiration for serious consideration:
The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. {1SM 204.2}
Who has authority to begin such a movement? We have our Bibles. We have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth? {1SM 205.1}
ALERT!
We had posted here a quote from Alice Bailey. She was a theosophist as was Helena Blavatsky who co-founded the Theosophical Society. Both recognized lucifer as their God. In fact, Alice Bailey started a publishing company called Lucifer Trust , but the public outcry was such that she renamed it Lucis Trust in 1922. She was a prolific writer and has stated that most of her writings were a result of telepathic dictation from a demon referred to as “the Tibetan” or by the initials “D.K.”, later identified as Djwal Khul. Those writings have strongly influenced the philosophies, directions, and goals of the United Nations for decades.
The quote we posted was her demon-dictated statement of the emerging church as it is sweeping the Christian churches now, especially the Seventh Day Adventist church. We removed it because we did not want to post statements dictated from the mind of satan. Please be aware that many of the philosophies surrounding the current emerging church movement have been strongly influenced by the same mind that influenced Alice Bailey.

Perils of the Emerging Church - Steve Wohlberg
Pastor Steve Wohlberg speaks on the controversial topic of the Emerging Church, revealing the dangers that exist in the core teachings of the Emerging Church, how they are diametrically opposed to the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14:6-14 (which represent God's last message of warning to a perishing world before Jesus returns), and how this threat has entered many Protestant churches today.
Interview with Steve Wohlberg on the Emerging Church
On October 12, 2013, GYC Southeast held a conference at Southern Adventist University, Tennessee. On Sabbath, Pastor Steve Wohlberg exposed the dangers of spiritual formation and the emerging church. ADvindicate interviewed Wohlberg to learn how the conference was received and to learn more about the dangers the church is facing from these forms of spiritualism.
One Project: present or emergent truth?
“When a point of doctrine that you do not understand comes to your attention, go to God on your knees, that you may understand what is truth and not be found as were the Jews fighting against God. While warning men to beware of accepting anything unless it is truth, we should also warn them not to imperil their souls by rejecting messages of light, but to press out of the darkness by earnest study of the word of God" (Testimonies to Ministers p.110)
A Day at The One Project September 2016
A quote worth considering. Is this coming true?
Even in its present form, so far from being more worthy of toleration than formerly, it is really a more dangerous, because a more subtle, deception. While it formerly denounced Christ and the Bible, it now professes to accept both. But the Bible is interpreted in a manner that is pleasing to the unrenewed heart, while its solemn and vital truths are made of no effect. Love is dwelt upon as the chief attribute of God, but it is degraded to a weak sentimentalism, making little distinction between good and evil. God’s justice, His denunciations of sin, the requirements of His holy law, are all kept out of sight. The people are taught to regard the Decalogue as a dead letter. Pleasing, bewitching fables captivate the senses and lead men to reject the Bible as the foundation of their faith. Christ is as verily denied as before; but Satan has so blinded the eyes of the people that the deception is not discerned. GC558

Paul warned us in 2 Tim 4:3-4, "For the time will comewhen they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Pantheism and the Alpha of Heresies
Meet It!
I am instructed to speak plainly. “Meet it,” is the word spoken to me. “Meet it firmly, and without delay.” But it is not to be met by our taking our working forces from the field to investigate doctrines and points of difference. We have no such investigation to make. In the book Living Temple there is presented the alpha of deadly heresies. The omega will follow, and will be received by those who are not willing to heed the warning God has given.
Our physicians, upon whom important responsibilities rest, should have clear spiritual discernment. They are to stand constantly on guard. Dangers that we do not now discern will soon break upon us, and I greatly desire that they shall not be deceived. I have an intense longing to see them standing free in the Lord. I pray that they may have courage to stand firm for the truth as it is in Jesus, holding fast the beginning of their confidence unto the end. — Selected Messages Vol. 1, pg. 200
Spiritual Formation: A Self-Centered Spiritualism?
I remember that a few years ago, I was going through a checkout line at a grocery store when the few items I purchased rang up to $6.66. The cashier noticed the ominous numbers and gave a small gasp. When I asked her what she thought of that number, she responded, “I don’t know what it means, but I know it’s really bad!”
