God said the Fruits of the Spirit do I need, to live

And I want to live right by showing my love, 

Living by myself in this world could destroy

But depending on Abba, Father, gives great joy.

Knowing God’s love for me will never cease

I want to live this life completely in peace

As He walks me through the fiery suffering

He is simply training me to be long-suffering.

He has saved me through His Son’s greatness

Accepting this truth nurtures my gentleness, 

When He knocks on my heart with tenderness 

I will open it to develop in me His goodness.

When Satan tempts me with his sinful trait

I’ll pray to God and walk upright with faith, 

God’s Word strengthens me during weakness

My fallibility brings me to knees with meekness.

The most beautiful days are with Jesus’ presence  

I prepare myself each day with all temperance,

Given guidelines for eternity is simple and straight

Spending eternity with my God is simply great! Amen!
