Often we ask God for something and then we forget the prayer once we receive it. But we need to etch in our hearts that God always gives more than what we ask for until we reach the ultimate request. 

Ask God for forgiveness

You will receive more than forgiveness

You will receive peace with forgiveness 

Ask God for peace

You will receive more than peace

You will receive His will to find peace

Ask God for His will

You will receive more than His will

You will receive the strength to do His will

Ask God for strength

You will receive more than strength

You will receive wisdom to use the strength

Ask God for wisdom

You will receive more than wisdom

You will receive patience to gain wisdom

Ask God for patience

You will receive more than patience

You will receive love with patience

Ask God for love

You will receive more than love

You will receive eternal life through love

Ask God for eternal life

You will receive more than eternal life

You will receive His character for eternal life

Ask God for His character

You will receive more than His character

You will receive Jesus to know His character

Ask God for Jesus

This is the ultimate request to ask God

There is nothing greater than Jesus to give.

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,..."   Ephesian 3:20
