Luthergarden

I receive the email below just a moment ago. Ecumenical events are moving rapidly...

Hello,

Here is a [photo] link to a website that shows what is the focus of the Luther Garden.

http://www.luthergarten.de/welcome.html

Watch the video on the home page and listen closely. The planting of the 500 trees is to commemorate the 500th Year of the Reformation.  This has been going on for years.

See the list of trees. [It is a link on the right side of the webpage]

Note that tree No 1 was planted be the Roman Catholic Church, Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.  Note when it was planted and the location it was planted.

Note Tree Numbers 82 and 88.  Note the interesting spelling of these churches.  Have you ever heard of these churches?

Watch the video on the home page and note and listen for the following:

1.  The picture of Luther on the shovel.

2.  it is a "international and ecumenical project"

3. "churches which identify with the spirit of the reformation can come here and plant a tree"

4. "these trees symbolize the united witness they want to give to the world"

5.  "Under the trees you can think about the reformation"

6.  "a park where people can gather under the trees"

7.  "just as our Christian world should grow together"

8.  Note the collar of the man speaking in behalf of the Lutheran organization that is running this project.

This is all gearing up for October 31st, 2017.

"For all those who have ears to hear, let them hear"

Blessings to You.

David
