Considering the recent Supreme Court decision which has found a constitutional right to same-sex marriage, it is becoming vitally important God’s remnant church follow our Lord's leading - and admonitions - concerning the distinctions of clothing between men and women. “As it was in the days of Lot…” Luke 17:28
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. Deureronomy 22:5
Almost as soon as they come into the world the children are subjected to fashion's influence. They hear more of dress than of their Saviour. They see their mothers consulting the fashion plates more earnestly than the Bible. The display of dress is treated as of greater importance than the development of character... For fashion's sake they are cheated out of a preparation for the life to come.
It was the adversary of all good who instigated the invention of the ever-changing fashions. He desires nothing so much as to bring grief and dishonor to God by working the misery and ruin of human beings. MH291
