Pat's Paragraphs

September 2020

Dear LLT Friends,

I wish you could hear the recording of this interview, and maybe some of you have. I’m going to just roll out some quotes from it for you, and let you ponder what it means:

“We become very intimate with the spirits we call on regularly. Each of them seems to have a different presence and personality. I laugh a lot with _______. I didn't meet her in the body…”

“Hashtags are for us way more than a hashtag, it’s almost resurrecting spirits so they work through us to get the work done that we need to get done. I started to feel personally connected and responsible and accountable to them…”

“When we think about the work that people like Harriet Tubman, Ida B. Wells, Ella Baker, Martin Luther King and El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz —Malcolm X — did, we summon them into the work as well.”

“It’s so important, not just for us, to be in direct relationship to our people of the past, but also for them to know that we remember them…so many of them work through us…”

I’m not sharing this to be political. I’m sharing because it highlights where we are in time, and how crucial it is that we be wide awake, that we know what God’s Word says, and that we compare everything we hear with it.

Would you like to know who said these things? These are quotes from an interview with Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of #BLM and Dr. Melina Abdullah, professor at UCLA, about the role of spiritualism and its rituals in the #BLM movement.

And below is the video of those comments, and more.

There’s no shame, and no masking, of their pagan practices. And to large portions of society, either agnostic or itself deeply steeped in spiritualism, this is acceptable, even commendable.

Paul warns, ”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Eph. 6:12.

Our friend Ellen warned that, “Satan is finding access to thousands of minds by presenting himself under the guise of departed friends.” (AA 289)

What defense does today’s nominal Christian have against these lying spirits? None! Belief in the immortal soul has removed the wall of protection against evil angels imitating the departed.

“And how can those who believe in man’s consciousness in death reject what comes to them as divine light communicated by glorified spirits?” {GC 551)

They can’t, and they don’t. This is where we are in time, friends. Let’s not hide our Light under a bushel. Let’s be bolder.

Thank you for partnering with us, for supporting our project and making the light shine from this corner.

Jesus is coming.
